Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was filled with ups and downs. The rooms were spacious and overlooked the ski slopes, which I loved, but there was a noticeable smell of cigarette in the air. The service was excellent, with the most helpful staff I've encountered in Japan, making my stay very pleasant. The location couldn't have been better, right on the ski slope, perfect for hot spring lovers and winter sports enthusiasts. The dining experience was good overall, with a wide range of options, although the breakfast was not what I expected. The facilities were decent, but there were some minor disappointments.
The hotel is perfectly located right by the slopes, which is fantastic for rest and recovery after snowboarding. The rooms, complete with a private hot spring pool for my family, were larger than the Alpen and quite comfortable. While the service was very friendly and helpful until the end of my stay, there were occasional communication challenges due to English proficiency. The location, just down from the Prince, was superb for ski-in and ski-out convenience. The dining experience offered delicious options, although the meal starting time clashed with private lessons. Overall, a great choice for a ski holiday.
The hotel offers the perfect size rooms with private onsen facilities, underneath the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, even though they may barge into the male toilets unexpectedly. The location was a highlight of my trip, facing the slopes and close to various amenities. The dining experience will satisfy everyone with a variety of Western and Japanese dishes.
